Using policy, cryptographic validation, identity and device context, and evidence records, PastWipe reduces the usable value of stolen or exfiltrated data outside approved conditions and records each control decision for security, legal, compliance and insurance review. PastWipe complements existing identity, endpoint, DLP, monitoring and incident-response tools. It does not replace them. RepSec™, an optional protocol framework, is designed to support consistent policy and evidence exchange across participating systems.

Terminology

Please avoid: absolute claims that stolen data loses all value or can never be used, descriptions of a granted patent (the correct wording is "US patent pending"), and the terms "reputation management", "PR firm", "content removal" and "search-engine deletion". PastWipe is not a reputation-management firm.
