RepSec-Q is in development. It is not a released product. It extends the direction of the optional RepSec™ protocol framework toward post-quantum resilience.
Why a post-quantum direction
Advances in quantum computing are expected to put pressure on some encryption methods in use today. A commonly discussed risk is "harvest now, decrypt later": encrypted data is stolen now and kept until it can be decrypted.
Encryption alone does not address data that has already been exfiltrated or duplicated. RepSec-Q explores how policy, validation and evidence controls can remain dependable as cryptographic standards change.

- Post-quantum claims depend on the selected cryptography and implementation.
- Like RepSec, RepSec-Q is optional. PastWipe™ does not depend on it.
