In a bold move to diversify the region’s economy, PastWipe, a rising force in the digital privacy sector, has announced plans to launch the PastWipe Technology & Innovation Centre—a facility dedicated to online safety, AI ethics, misinformation detection, and data protection.
With over 2.8 billion people worldwide seeking to remove personal data from the internet, the demand for privacy solutions is surging. PastWipe, specialising in digital reputation management, privacy protection, and content removal, provides discreet, AI-powered tools that allow individuals to reclaim control over their online presence. Now, it plans to base its long-term research, development, and education operations in Marbella.

To realise this vision, PastWipe is seeking cooperation from the Marbella Ayuntamiento, Junta de Andalucía, and national innovation bodies like ENISA and CDTI. The company is also applying for EU support through programs such as Digital Europe and Horizon Europe.
